Ask for the key
Once inside, look for the API key option and create one. It will ask which project: if you have none, let it make you a new one. There is nothing else to configure.
Copy the whole thing
You get a long line of letters and numbers. Copy all of it and keep it wherever you keep your passwords. It is yours and you should not show it to anyone, me included: you paste it into your own panel, where only you can see it.
Paste it in your panel and you are done
There is a field for the key in Settings. Paste, save, and from that moment your agents have something to work with. If anything is wrong, the panel tells you right there.
Questions about this step
Is the free key actually good for anything?
For trying it properly, yes: enough to set up your house, create your agents and send them work for days. It has a daily cap, and if you hit it, it is because you are getting real use out of it — then we talk about moving to a paid one, which is not expensive either.
Am I going to get charged without noticing?
The free key has no card behind it. If you do not add a payment method, you cannot be charged: it simply stops answering when you hit the daily cap and comes back the next day.
What if my key gets out?
You delete it from the same place you made it and create another in a minute. That is exactly why the key should be yours: the day you want to cut it off, you do it and you do not depend on anyone.
Can I use a different AI?
The model can be chosen from the panel itself. If you already work with another provider, write to me and we will look at it.
